Warm days, cool nights:

the scent of that time

Baengno means "White Dew." It is the time of year when dew begins to form. Days are still warm, but a cool wind comes after sunset. It is the quiet turning point between summer and autumn, and our Baengno is made in its image.

It opens clear and cool, like the high, clean sky of an autumn morning. Then, slowly, a warm spice wraps around it. Cool at first and cozy later, it holds the change of temperature over one day. Korean materials hide inside: the calm of a Joseon scholar's room, the warm smell of freshly ground red pepper, the clear autumn sky. Together, they became Baengno.

As autumn arrives, why not stop for a moment and smell the season?

Where scent, culture

and taste meet

From the start, we knew Ipchun would divide people. Launching a scent built on galbanum in Korea was a bold move.

But in Paris, the opposite happened. At Maison&Objet, our Ipchun samples sold out, and we even took pre-orders. French visitors recognized the bold green scent of galbanum right away. Many of them took only Ipchun and barely looked at the others.

Back in Korea, it was just as we expected. "It's too strong." "What is this smell?" The same scent, and such a different reaction. For some, it is too strong. For others, it opens a whole new world. Which one are you?

Curious? Just smell it.

"Does it really smell like boiled spring greens?" "Which scent do people either love or hate?" "Can you really smell the silence of 4 a.m.?" After reading our stories, you may have questions like these.

So we made samples. A 2.5ml sample is small, but big enough to really know a scent. Use it once a day, and it lasts about two weeks. You can try it many times and notice how it changes.

You only know which scent suits you when you try it yourself: the cool start and soft finish of Black Iris, the bold green charm of Ipchun, the calm of Silence. Reading about a scent and smelling it are completely different.

If our long stories made you curious, now is the time to find out.

Where scent stays

Keep it in your car, and the scent greets you each time you start the engine. Hang it in your closet, and your clothes carry a soft scent when you wear them. Place it by your bed, and the air feels a little different before you sleep. Where you put it changes how you enjoy it.

Just open and hang. Our sachets use natural stones that hold the scent deeply, so it lasts almost a month. When the scent fades, spray it with the same MONOROOM fragrance to use it longer. Put a different scent in your car, closet and bedroom, and each everyday moment will feel a little different.

Like bringing a work of art home

Just add a few drops of oil, and the scent spreads softly. No reed sticks, no machines. Only a few drops of oil on a ceramic piece shaped by an artist's hands. Its heavy, raw texture and small handmade differences make it special. It is not perfectly smooth, and that is what makes it unique.

Sometimes you want to give something truly special to someone you love. Not a common gift, but something just for them.

With a diffuser like this, they will ask, "Where did you find this?" It comes in a wooden box, so it feels special from the moment they open it. It smells good, it is a piece of art, and it is useful too. It feels less like giving a diffuser and more like giving a work of art.
